We have a target to ensure everyone is on a training pathway after six months with us,” explains Courtney. “It’s about growing our own trees and making sure everyone is on a journey to develop themselves and contribute to skill-depth in the local industry.” The company’s training initiatives span a wide breadth of programmes, from the Infrastructure Skills Centre Cadet Programme, which has successfully retained 16 cadets over the past two years, to specific industry qualifications through Connexis, with 45 employees currently completing New Zealand Certificate in Infrastructure Works across various disciplines. Additionally, it has embraced diversity through its Girls in Hi-Viz programme, which attracted 25 participants in 2024. “Our innovative approach to training ensures learning is engaging and practical.
