Mulcahy Engineering ENGINEERING After 40-odd years it remains very much a family firm, but Avondale-based Mulcahy Engineering has developed a nationwide clientele on the back of its focus on quality service and state-of-the-art plant, and today it is recognised as a New Zealand engineering industry leader. Murray Mulcahy founded Mulcahy Engineering in 1980, basing it in West Auckland, and has built it into a substantial business with a staff of 140 housed in seven buildings covering around 6000sqm in Charann Place. Today, Murray’s son Kayne serves as managing director, and Murray is still active as a director.
