Undertaking challenging security projects throughout New Zealand, Red Wolf High Level Security is one of the country’s leading security providers, specialising in protective security site surveys, system design and installation, maintenance and fault-call response. Red Wolf High Level Security was born 2005 with a focus on delivering a very high standard of electronic security services and customer support to local and central government agencies. Based in Lower Hutt, with an o ice in Auckland, Red Wolf High Level Security operates throughout New Zealand, providing both on-site and remote services. “Having identi ied the need, we wanted to deliver a service that had heart and soul through a family style business o ering,” says Sales Director Scott Mitchison. “We grew from a team of three to a team of over forty employees, including electronic security specialists and engineers, network engineers, project managers, an operations delivery team, and an installation sales team. The majority of what we do is around risk mitigation in regard to vandalism and health and safety. But we also design electronic systems that provide business analytics to improve services. While the Red Wolf High Level Security range of what we do is extensive, it’s always driven around customer need and the requirement for electronic security systems.” Red Wolf ’s operations include meeting with the client to understand their security requirements or the issues they want to resolve, then designing an electronic security system to meet that need, procure, project manage and install the systems, and then provide preventative maintenance and a fault service. “We predominantly work for central and local government, including Wellington City Council, Upper Hutt City Council, Porirua City Council and Kapiti Coast District Council. We also look after a range of other customers throughout New Zealand and travel where ever the site is in the country, providing ongoing support of the systems. We were successful in doing the lighting infrastructure for the main performance auditorium at the St James Theatre in Wellington, and were really proud to be part of that project.” From the early days of operating from a spare bedroom in Matt’s homes, the team at Audio Workshop now operates from their own premises in Kenepuru, just out of Wellington city. While 80% of Audio Workshop’s work comes from the greater Wellington region, projects have also been undertaken in Hawke’s Bay, Palmerston North, Taranaki and as far south as Nelson. With the Audio Workshop team’s reputation for quality systems and workmanship, Matt says the teamwill go wherever the work takes them. “We’re passionate about the technology, and the customer experience. If we do a sound or visual systems, we want the client to walk in the room and say, ‘oh my goodness, I didn’t know it could sound or look that good’. We want to be the experts in our ield and we continually push that in terms of training, upskilling and learning. Building customer relationships is also key for us, and while we are technicians at heart, we all have really good people skills.” When people are passionate about their work, the results are ampli ied through the customer experience, and the team at Audio Workshop exemplify that in volumes. Audio workshop’s journey started in 2015, when founder Matt Chapman decided he wanted to ful ill a long-held dream to shape his own business destiny in an industry that he was skilled and passionate about. “Audio Workshop was really born out of passion for audio; the design and installation of bespoke sound systems for production work, and the business has continually evolved to meet our customers’ needs.
