Led by Ryan Coombes and his wife Amy, this family-owned and operated business is dedicated to delivering quality craftsmanship and personalised service. With a family of four children from teenager to toddler, Ryan and Amy know what busy families need in an enjoyable and enduring home. They say the focus is on delivering a bespoke home, where quality builds prevails over quantity. Ryan has owned the local franchise since its inception in 2014 and brings over 20 years of construction and project management experience, and a meticulous attention to detail. His reputation for exceptionally high standards has stood him in good stead as current president of the Central North Island Registered Master Builders Association, further cementing Landmark Homes’ commitment to high calibre outcomes. Adding to their team’s expertise, Amy brings a wealth of experience from her previous roles as a real estate agent and in administration and finance. Nearing completion of a certificate in interior design, Amy’s involvement in interior finishes and colour selections offers her a lot of job satisfaction and ensures clients receive personalised guidance to make their dream homes a reality – right down to helping them source furniture items to complement their new home. New home consultant Shane Turnbull, a qualified builder, will work with clients at the commencement of their Landmark Homes building journey. Construction manager Andrew Watson has close to 20 years building experience, and together they ensure each build is expertly overseen from start to finish. Amy says the current building climate supports Landmark Homes’ ability to promptly commence construction on future homes and offer assurance of build pricing with fixed price contracts. “If people have land, and walk in the door to see us today, we could start building in as little as five months time. With a strong design ethos in mind, or a willingness to utilise our extensive range of ready-to-build plans, the process becomes even more streamlined, allowing families to move into their new homes sooner,” says Amy. Ryan emphasises that the Landmark Homes experience extends beyond the construction process. “We pride ourselves on providing a service above and beyond, from the sales and selections process, through to the construction and operations side of things,” he says. “The entire team at Landmark Homes works closely on each build, ensuring that clients enjoy the design and build process while finding full satisfaction once they settle into their new homes.” Landmark Homes offers three distinct products: design and build, house and land packages, and a collection of over 90 ready-to-build plans. Amy and Ryan say the ready-to-build plan collection serves as a great starting point for inspiration and customisation, enabling clients to achieve the home of their dreams. For people to meet the team and see the quality of Landmark Homes’ level of finish, a showhome in the Centennial Park subdivision will be opening soon. The pavilion-style design features three bedrooms, a well-lit open-plan dining and kitchen area, separate lounge, two bathrooms, master suite replete with walk-in wardrobe and freestanding bath, and a private external living quarter at the rear of the home. Dark cabinetry, textural features, and exquisite natural and feature lighting choices contribute to the showhome’s elegance and modernity. Located at 11 Awanui Avenue, Hokowhitu, Palmerston North, the show home is just a stone’s throw away from the Centennial Lagoon, river pathways and Manawatu Golf Course. While this particular home is not for sale, Landmark Homes is constructing client’s homes within Stage two of the Centennial Park subdivision and Stage three will be open in the future. “It’s a journey to build and we’re there for people the whole way,” says Amy. “It’s not just about building a house for someone; we get to know them and their families along the way. We want to make clients for life.”
