Fraser has been in the business for 21 years, starting out as a used vehicle consultant and growing through the business to general manager of sales, and on to group general manager in 2023. “I’m ready to take over,” Fraser says. “Debbie and Brendon have laid some really good foundations over the past 20 years that have Owned by Debbie and Brendon Hart since 2004, and joined by Brendon’s brother Fraser in 2010, the family expanded on their Manawatu Toyota dealership in Palmerston North by purchasing three TRC Toyota stores with locations in Feilding, Masterton, and Levin in 2010, then Whanganui Toyota in 2021. Manawatu & TRC Toyota now employs more than 150 people across its five locations. Under Debbie’s leadership, Manawatu Toyota enjoyed significant success over the years, winning the Toyota Supreme Award at the Toyota Dealership Excellence Awards for two consecutive years, Debbie taking home the Leadership Award for two consecutive years, and more recently winning the President’s Award for Customer Service in 2020. Debbie spent 20 years in the CEO role and worked for the previous owners since 1991.
