Lindale Village is undergoing a complete rejuvenation with new high quality homes and the aim to make it a destination that both locals and tourists will flock to visit, says Mark Muru, director of development company Lindale Residential. “We want Lindale Village to be a destination that people will actively want to come to and where they will enjoy spending time.” Located just north of the Paraparaumu town centre, in the past the village of Lindale was a tourist and agricultural centre but later gained a reputation for cheese and the Lindale Barnyard petting farm. It was also where the famed Kapiti ice cream started. Over time its reputation dwindled until a group came together to form Lindale Residential with a plan to breath new life into the area. Already underway is stage one comprising fifteen 220sqm three-story residential units spread over two blocks, one of which has lift access. One block is already complete with the other due in August. All can be fully dual keyed with the downstairs presenting opportunities to be utilised as a standalone apartment, granny flat, for a border or area for teenage children or extended family. It has a small living area, kitchenette, single bedroom and ensuite and patio area. On the second level is an open plan living/ kitchen/dining area with balcony. On the top level are three bedrooms including master with ensuite and a large shared bathroom. There is an internal garage and parking for two additional cars. Mark says some units have views to Kapiti Island.
