The company exports its engineering expertise and has wire line operations and manufactures its own downhole tools to help clients assess the condition and performance of geothermal wells. Wire line operations are located in New Zealand and the Philippines and MB Century is setting up another in Indonesia. MB Century has a long and impressive history, dating back to 1950 when it started operations as a government department. Today, drawing on its long history and accumulated expertise, the business is owned by Tuaropaki Trust, which purchased MB Century from MB Holdings in 2015. Today Tuaropaki Trust comprises of diversified business interests spanning various industries including wine, dairy, geothermal power generation, horticulture and even wasabi.
