| 57 EAS Waikato EAS won the People and Culture Awards at the Waikato Business Awards Gala Dinner. CONTRACTING “This year we have directed fundraising to the renal ward at Waikato Hospital. “With covid, our event had to be virtual, but we took on the mission to walk, run, or bike the distance from Cape Reinga to Bluff. “Well, the team not only smashed that target but managed the return distance from Bluff to Cape Reinga as well.” The team raised $2500 which has gone towards supplying dialysis stands (as designed by Carey while undertaking dialysis) and grocery vouchers to support kidney patients who are struggling with the high cost of living at the moment.
