Despite the uncertainty the pandemic brought Matt says that seeing the vision of the developer convinced them that it was a development that would experience strong demand and deliver great family living. Jennian Homes is offering a number of house and land packages in Lockerbie Estate. With stage 1 sold out, there are still packages available in stage 1b and stage 2. Matt says the packages have been designed to meet the development design parameters and come with predesigned plans that work well on the each site. Homes at all market levels are being offered from two bedroom homes right up to four bedroom homes with two living areas and double garage. Matt says this ensures anyone from a first homebuyer right up to those wishing to downsize can find their dream home. Since Jennian Homes first released product in Lockerbie Estate to the market in 2020 market reception has been outstanding, says Matt. “Our focus at Jennian Homes has always been to get people into homes so it’s been great to be able to help both locals in Morrinsville and those from further afield into a brand new home.” He says demand has come from as far afield as Auckland with people seeking lifestyle and the pandemic making many realise they can work from home. Located in the ‘golden triangle’ of Hamilton, Tauranga and Rotorua, Morrinsville is in close proximity to main centres, he says. “What Covid-19 has taught us is that people can work from home and perhaps go into the office a couple of days a week. “So it’s easy to travel to the train line or the other main centres and get to where you need to go fairly easily.” He says the openness in the subdivision means people feel a sense of living in the countryside. It also protects purchasers’ investment in Lockerbie Estate as do the design covenants. Jennian Homes is also building a showhome in Lockerbie Estate, which should be open by around April 2022. Matt says the 160sqm home will showcase Jennian’s clever design and boast three bedrooms, open plan living/dining/kitchen and double garage.
