T T to page 20 Entec has recently marked a major step in its ongoing diversification and growth strategy with its new purpose-built headquarters at 6 Mustang Drive in New Plymouth. The development is the result of a close collaboration between Entec, landlord Symons Group, and builder Shedex, and is already delivering the operational benefits the company envisioned when planning began. Entec CEO and director Rob Evans says his company moved into the newly completed 500sqm office building and 720sqm workshop in December, giving the team a modern and highly functional environment tailored to Entec’s specialist electrical and instrumentation work. Rob says Entec had moved into number 8 Mustang Drive two years ago before taking over number 6 about 12 months ago, providing the opportunity to create a cohesive operational hub across the two neighbouring sites. “We’ve recently settled in, and having a design-and-build has meant we could get exactly what we needed,” he says. “The whole layout has been created around a central hub with a large meeting/boardroom, open-plan areas and communal spaces. All the private offices are positioned around the perimeter so everyone has natural light and a view outside, which makes a huge difference to people who sit at a desk all day.” 116 Rifle Range Road, Waiwhakaiho, New Plymouth | (06) 758 7755 | www.npe-tech.co.nz NPE-TECH ELECTRICAL FIRE NETWORK CIVIL Taranaki Owned and Operated 10+ years experience Specialising in supply and installation of: • Suspended Ceilings • Aluminum Office Partitions • Steel Stud Walls & Bulkheads • Insulation & Acoustic Applications
