I t’s been a busy year already for Brian Green Property Group with projects quickly selling out as soon as they are released to the market. Director Brian Green has been flat out. It’s a small tightknit team that handles the compa- ny’s significant projects and assets. The Group was started in 1971 and has built its reputation on predominantly commercial and industrial property, developing and leas- ing in Palmerston North and throughout the Manawatu area. It also has large landholdings of bare industrial land, which are available for either development or on sale. A 15.4ha site in Kelvin Grove Road called Midhurst Park is currently being developed as turnkey developments to tenant requirements or sold as bare sites ranging in size from 1000sqm to 2ha although sites could be devel- oped to suit particular needs, he says. Stage one is underway and Brian expects titles to be issued later this year. Stage two will commence in 2022. He says interest will be strong due to its proximity to Tremaine Avenue, the main industrial corridor in Palmerston North. Other recently completed projects include a 9100sqm site in Dunedin for Turners Car Auctions where an existing building has been transformed into a modern purpose built facility. The group has also completed service station developments for Gull in Tremaine Avenue and NPD in Rangatikei. It has also refurbished premises for Hunting & Fishing, Farmers and Repco in Palmerston North. Residential developments have also figured strongly for the company and at present the company is working on Pacific Heights, a 200ha subdivision located at the southern end of Pacific Drive providing panoramic mountain and city views. The large elevated sections are fully serviced and have comprehensive building covenants ensuring quality homes to protect people’s investment, says Brian. Zoned for both Palmerston North Boys High and Palmerston North Girls High, the subdivision is located close to Massey, the In- ternational Pacific College and the Summerhill Shopping Complex. Recreational reserves are within the subdivision with extensive public walking tracks nearby. It’s been a project that the Group has been working on around a decade. Six stages deliv- ering around 250 sections have sold out. “Each home is complemented with driveway, decks and exterior landscaping, providing a welcome environment ready for people to move in.” The Group is working on stages seven and eight, which will release another 100 sections to the market ranging in size from 700- 800sqm. In total the project will deliver around 500 sections to the market making it a major pro- vider of residential land to the region. Brian Green Property Group is offering house and land packages. Brian says that each of the new homes has bee n architecturally designed to make the best use of space and provide warm, sunny living areas. “Constructed with modern, low mainte- nance materials, the homes can be provided with a construction and materials guarantee from one of Palmerston North’s most reputa- ble builders,” he says. “All homes are finished with quality fixtures and fittings, including stainless steel kitchen appliances with guarantees. “Each home is complemented with drive- way, decks and exterior landscaping, providing a welcome environment ready for people to move in.” After many decades of delivering numerous developments in Palmerston North in par- ticular Brian says that Brian Green Property Group is extremely proud to have played a part in helping to shape the region.
