It’s a long-term business partnership that is successful because both parties trust each other and regularly review what is working well and what can be done di erently to ensure their employees’ health is protected.” Re lecting on nib’s success since its New Zealand launch, Rob says everything nib does is driven by its purpose to ensure the better health of its members. “Our products, programmes and even our partnerships, including our principal partnership with the Blues Super Rugby Team, are designed to help improve the health outcomes of the New Zealand community through greater accessibility to a ordable health services and health information. We’ve also seen real opportunity in demonstrating the role private health insurers can play in providing more personalised healthcare, helping mitigate avoidable or unnecessary treatment which we believe will continue to drive this success.” Rob cites the example of its population health initiative with Auckland iwi, Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei, o ering free universal health insurance to almost 4,200 iwi to help improve health and wellbeing outcomes for a population largely underrepresented within the health system. Looking forward, Rob says through the use of data science, nib hopes to keep more of its members healthy and out of hospital through the delivery of personalised health management programmes. 94 Gargan Road, Tauriko, Tauranga 3110 | 07 575 2027 | office@harkinroofing.co.nz | ww w.harkinroofing.co.nz web he lth.nib.co.nz/business
