From its warehouse in Mt Maunganui, Grosafe supports many kiwifruit growers throughout the Bay of Plenty, Auckland, Northland, Waikato, Gisborne, Hawkes Bay and Nelson/Motueka Regions. Many of their chemicals are distributed through Horticentre Group and other outlets. One such enterprise is Ngai Tukairangi Iwi Trust with substantial horticultural investments in the Bay Of Plenty and Hawkes Bay. “We started out supplying them about 18 years ago and have enjoyed a very good relationship over this period We really value being able to work with them and support what they are doing; we look forward to keeping them updated on our very latest prod- ucts as they come available.” Some exciting new products from Grosafe include OceanFert ® , a sustainably harvested organic, slow release, seaweed fertiliser that is ideal for conventional and organic growers as a support to existing fertiliser programmes, Ecospread ® and Biospread ® , two new BioGro Certified super spreading adjuvants, a first in the organic sector, and BioGro Certified Hortcare ® Spinosad for the control of leafroller in kiwifruit. While these products have BioGro Certification they are equally at home in conventional programmes, especially where sustainability is a focus. Grosafe looks forward to introducing Ngai Tukairangi Iwi Trust to some of their new, inno- vative products and building on existing business. “In total we have 43 ACVM-registered prod- ucts and another 28 speciality agricultural products such as adjuvants, bio-stimulants and fertilisers.
