Founding director Hannes White started his electrical career within industrial electrical services designing and installing state-ofthe-art systems for large scale industry such as wineries and breweries along with general service and maintenance work. Quickly establishing a reputation for outstanding workmanship, integrity and honesty, Hannes established his company with the objective of providing the best possible service in a timely manner and at a competitive rate. “We strive to let our values dictate how we provide our service to our customers,” says Hannes, “delivering a quality service and leaving a positive impression on every project and customer.” Reset Electrical are a company of 11 highly skilled individuals comprising registered electricians, three dedicated apprentices and an office support team based out of Napier. Hannes takes pride in his company and his trade, serving as President of Master Electricians, Hawkes Bay for the past three years. Representing its master electrician membership and addressing issues faced by enterprising master electricians out in the field, including recruitment and retention. Hannes ensures he provides opportunities that attract high quality electricians to his team including offering shares in the business as a means of retaining key team members. In the five years that Reset Electrical has been operating, they’ve completed many significant installation projects. In the last year, that includes a complete commercial renovation of the third floor of the Custom Care Nursing facility in Hastings. “This was a complete overhaul where we removed everything existing and redesigned and rewired throughout, reinstalling commercial switchboards and set up throughout,” says Hannes. “We’ve also done a lot of electrical refits of flood damaged homes throughout the region following the 2023 cyclone,” he says, “complete house re-wiring and restorations to at least 25 homes in the past year.” House renovations are an opportune time to upgrade your homes electrical, data and fibre installations. “We’ll do everything from a one-hour repair to a full project,” says Hannes. “Renovating is a good time to upgrade your property wiring which is also necessary for insurance purposes.” Reset Electricals’ commitment to excellence knows no bounds.
