The business park at Seaview offers a range of unit sizes from single garage size to larger units that could accommodate a medium sized business. All units have a six-metre high stud for versatility, a kitchenette and accessible bathroom with most having mezzanine floors which make an ideal office space. There is high speed internet to all units and a range of add-ons when purchasing. Units are provided ready to occupy. The 75 units are spilt into five blocks with 148 parking spaces available. Thames Pacific developer and owner, Stephen Sutorius says the business park is close to the Seaview Marina and some people are buying units to store their boats. The location is also attracting marine related businesses. “The Quarter offers safe and secure storage and people are purchasing units to store boats or their vintage cars. There is so much scope here and already we have a robotics company, an electrician, tiny home manufacturer and commercial painter in the mix. The high stud and option for a roller door makes them ideal for tradies and storage,” says Stephen. The Quarter was completed in March this year and Stephen expects it to fill up quickly. The Quarter zoning allows for food and beverage outlets and these will be part of the mix once the park is in full swing. “We envision an eclectic mix of small businesses, trade showrooms, boutique on-line retailers and craftspeople. “The park is attracting small-medium owner-operator and appealing to investors with high value suburbs of Eastbourne and Days Bay along with the central Hutt Valley nearby, storage will be a big factor,” he says. “The units are pre-cast concrete and with some units coming with glazed sectioned roller doors which are ideal for a showroom. There are a handful of units still available starting at $188,000.” The Quarter was designed by Designgroup Stapleton Elliott architecture, a nationwide firm with vast experience in commercial developments. Construction was by Watts and Hughes. Thames Pacific is a property development and investment company based in Wellington with offices in Sydney, Singapore and a presence in Hong Kong.
