Around 100 sections have sold and stage three is under construction. Both Sam and John say the appeal of the premium development has been the section sizes and the fact its surrounded by established bush and includes walkways and waterways. “Wakanae has a great climate, beautiful beach, nice restaurants and bars and with the new roading network it’s just 45 minute’s drive into Wellington CBD. There is also a train station making access to Wellington even easier,” says Sam. “Manu Park provides a beautiful natural surrounding as well as great access to city life nearby.” Ten minutes up the road in Otaki the brothers are developing North Bank Business Park, which is the Kapiti Coast’s new commercial and industrial estate set on 13 hectares near the banks of Otaki River. John says the new roading links and shortage of flat land around the Wellington region has boosted demand for more affordable industrial land in Otaki. Eight lots in Stage One have all sold and civil construction work is complete. Titles are due to be issued shortly and purchasers can then commence construction of their office and warehouse facilities. Stage one offered lots of around 1000sqm suited to small to medium sized businesses. “It’s shaping up to be an exciting commercial and industrial precinct for our town,” adds John. Stage two will soon be released to the market with options ranging from 1,000 – 5,000m2 expected to be complete in 2024. As well as lots for sale this stage will also offer design and build options for businesses to lease. John and Sam say business owners can come with their needs and a building will be designed to suit their requirements in a bespoke solution.
