Craggy Range produces a collection of iconic and internationally recognised wines from its vineyards in Hawkes Bay and Martinborough, South Wairarapa. These vineyards comprise a diverse terroir including the layered terraces of Te Muna in Martinborough and the renowned Gimblett Gravels which have the only appellation in New Zealand based on soil type. “The whole mission statement of Craggy Range and the reason for being was to create an estate that sits alongside the great grape vintners of the world, but the one thing we want is for every touchpoint of Craggy Range to be world class,” David says.
