PAGE 14 Kapiti Coast building company Multibuild prides itself on offering clients a transparent process from start to finish. Company director Tim Evison says that the company’s portfolio of repeat clients is testament to the fact that they appreciate accurate pricing and the upfront approach. “Multibuild has a proud reputation as a company that offers both superior quality and reliability for our clients. Using innovative and modern technology we complete our contracts on time and on budget and have the track record to prove it,” he says. Multibuild was incorporated in 2011 after the merger of two New Zealand construction companies that had been going since the 60s and 70s. Tim, who owns the company with Craig Reilly, says this means the team brings a great deal of experience to the table. Craig has more than 35 years of experience in the building industry. He oversees all of the projects including assisting with technical issues; ensuring adequate resources are available, liaising directly with clients and consultants and monitoring quality, health and safety, and the build programme. Tim has been involved in a number of diverse construction projects over his career, primarily in a site-based quantity surveyor role for clients ranging from homeowners doing small renovations through to embassy upgrades for the US Marine Corps and a project at the Beehive for Parliamentary Services. His role at Multibuild is tendering where he takes the lead role in the co-ordination of subcontractor bids, contract administration and marketing. Multibuild has forged its reputation in the commercial sector that it primarily focuses on. It completes a lot of work for the Ministry of Education including a project underway – the Kapiti College Wellness and International Centre. Tim says the fact that Multibuild has completed many projects for the college has stood it in good stead as it builds two large classrooms with medical and administration facilities and an outdoor area. As this new build links into an existing set of classrooms, this has added complexity that the team at Multibuild is well equipped to deal with says Tim. The project is due for completion by early 2023. Demonstrating its flexibility and adaptability, Multibuild also undertakes select residential projects if it has the time. It has two new architecturally designed homes underway in Waikanae including one on a challenging site, which has required excavation to achieve three building platforms during an incredibly wet winter, Covid lockdowns and supply chain issues. Tim says that fortunately the project is for a client who is also in the construction industry and well understands the challenges of the present build environment. Based on the Kapiti Coast in Paraparaumu, Multibuild works primarily in this region. A New Zealand owned and operated company Multibuild is a business that celebrates and promotes local talent, uses local suppliers and employs predominantly local subcontractors who excel in superior workmanship and attention to detail, says Tim. As a Licensed Building Practitioner Tim says the company’s focus never sways from delivering a high level of work efficacy and cost effectiveness to its clients. Multibuild undertakes both large and small-scale commercial projects. “Our team knows that these builds require exceptional work standards and technical proficiency – both of which match our training and work history of delivering quality results for our clients on time and on budget every time.” Always Professional, Always Reliable, Always Efficient PROUD TO SUPPORT MULTIBUILD SCHWASS PARAPARAUMU • WELLINGTON • LEVIN www.brienelectrical.co.nz Freephone 0800 TEAMBRIEN Freephone 0800 832627 Electrical Contracting and Project Management • Electrical Design & Planning Services Air-Conditioning Install & Maintenance • Commercial Lighting & Switching • Electrical Maintenance & Periodic Inspections • BWOF and EWOF, IQP Accredited • Fire Alarm Systems & Emergency Lighting • Additions & Alterations • Free Quotes for any project NEBULITE WELLINGTON 5 Manchester Street, Paraparaumu 04 298 3736 | tenders@nebulitewellington.co.nz W I NDOW AND DOOR S O L U T I ONS ® Proud history of supplying our customers with high quality aluminium windows & doors.
