Such is the case with builders Craig Diffey and Malcolm Davie, who came together to form Fairfield Palms and develop the Phoenix Palms Grove subdivision in Levin, along with the 28 homes in the development. As you enter Phoenix Grove Palms, Craig’s house is on one side of the street, while Malcolm’s is on the other. “A lot of people like the fact that the developers live here as well,” says Craig. “That we live here too is a vote of confidence in the development. Malcolm and I saw a market T T to page 64 opportunity to develop a quality subdivision, with quality housing. Everybody wants to live in a lovely environment that they are proud to call their home. “They want to be safe in the knowledge that the homes will all be designed and built to a high standard, and we have some very good covenants that protect each and every home owner’s investment.” What has made Phoenix Grove Palms even more special as a location is the new roading structure from the north of Wellington, along with very good access from the new expressway north of Otaki, while north of Levin is still to come. “We’re only 30 minutes from Palmerston North and Wellington is such an easy drive now. We’ve sold sections to quite a few people from Wellington who work from home and only need to commute for a day or so each week. “We’re only a three-minute drive to the centre of Levin.
