REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT Breaking newGround When Waitomo provided the opportunity for Carlyon to be involved in the civil preparations for the irst hydrogen plant in New Zealand it was thrilled to be a part of the important project. Carlyon worked closely with Waitomo and Hiringa from design to the complete installation, bringing both civil and mechanical expertise into the assignment. “Hydrogen is a subject that we have talked about a lot over the last few years. Available in single or multi-compartment con igurations other bene its include reduced separation distance and above ground storage of lammable products. Typical applications include generator supply, boiler supply, aviation storage and dispensing and chemical and lammable liquid storage. Carlyon o ers full in-house design capability to customise and meet customers’ speci ic requirements for fuel tanks, foundations, pumping, pipework and control system. “We can take care of the complete solution including P&ID, construction drawings and a Site Dossier to enable Hazardous Substance Certi ication,” says Cameron.
