T T Nicki Woodlock Matt Corleison, local owner and managing director of Design Builders Taupō, is a highly experienced builder with more than 20 years’ experience. With 22 local Master Builders Awards to his name, he’s renowned for his award-winning craftsmanship and attention to detail. Matt takes pride in turning dream homes into reality—and many of his clients become lifelong friends. Matt leads a team of four in the office, while his project manager leads builders onsite. It’s a real family business - his wife, Jess is construction co-ordinator, his mum, Ann, manages operations, and dad, Phil, a former builder, is on site making sure every detail is spot on. Matt says: “I’m responsible for sales, client liaison, and general management of the business. I’m the conduit between the architect, the client and the builders”. For the past 14 years, Matt has owned the Taupō franchise, bringing a relaxed and personal touch to every project. He guides clients from the very first design ideas through to completion, making the whole journey seamless, enjoyable, and stress-free.
