Approximately 15,000 square metres of concrete was involved in the overall project Strong bonds with clients pinned by two major developments – the Henderson Road and Hill Road coolstores. The Henderson Road project spans 9000 square metres of coolstore and 2200 square metres of canopy and is leased to Bostock NZ Ltd. The Hill Road counterpart boasts an impressive 12,000 square metres of coolstore and 2500 square metres of canopy, serving as the headquarters for Mr Apple New Zealand. Richard says that one of Britkin’s defining features is its commitment to building relationships. In an industry where personal connections play a pivotal role, Britkin has solidified its place by fostering strong bonds with clients. “This is especially pronounced in smaller regions like Hawke’s Bay, where personal connections can make or break a venture. With a low overhead structure and a network of trusted subcontractors, Britkin thrives by understanding and meeting clients’ needs, while keeping things simple and cost-effective,” explains Richard. A notable recent project for Britkin was the construction of the Twin City Aluminium joinery factory and office block. This 1000 square metre facility, paired with a 210 square metre office space, showcases the company’s versatility in catering to a range of industrial needs. Another project, Ruminate, involved creating a 1000 square metre shed, alongside a 110 square metre office, for an agricultural supplies business. Richard says these ventures underscore Britkin’s dedication to delivering solutions that align with client objectives. With the recent weather events having negatively impacted many of its horticultural clients in the Hawkes Bay it has posed obstacles for some significant projects. However, these setbacks haven’t deterred Britkin’s forward momentum. With projects in the pipeline and a commitment to servicing the region and its clientele, Britkin’s vision for the future is clear: “We aim to continue our trajectory as a respected construction leader, contributing to the growth and development of the sector while further expanding our portfolio,” says Richard. “In a landscape where success is determined by a delicate balance of experience and innovation, Britkin Industrial Construction remains dedicated to building a variety of projects for clients from coolstores to commercial complexes, administration offices and worker (RSE) accommodation to name but a few. As a family-driven business we hope to exemplify the essence of a true industry leader – one that blends tradition with innovation and expertise with a commitment to delivering beyond expectations.” www.actiondoorsolutions.co.nz sales@actiondoorsolutions.co.nz 06 879 6405 • Roller Shutter Doors • Insulated Sectional Doors • Truck Docking Equipment • High Speed Rapid Doors Fire Alarms Fire Sprinklers Fire Equipment Passive Fire Sealing Fire Suppression Systems Building Compliance (BWOF) Evacuation Scheme Specialists IQP Inspections & Testing Proudly supporting Hawke’s Bay business 06 843 3482 | www.almak.co.nz | info@almak.co.nz
