| 93 Waikato: Jennian Homes - Cambridge Bringing Jennian quality to Waikato T T Richard Loader Jennian Homes’ broad range encompasses 160sqm three bedroom, two-bathroom homes built in many of the subdivisions, right through to high-end architecturally designed 400sqm homes. BUILDING W hen Howard Baker bought into Jen- nian Homes and became a director five years ago he was amazed at the number of people who told him how proud they were to own a Jennian Home. “That’s still the number one thing that resonates with me,” says Howard. “Every week people come in and say they built with Jennian Homes 20 years ago and still love their beautiful home.” The Jennian Homes brand was established over 35 years ago, forging a trusted reputation for quality that has endured to this day. “The original founder of Jennian Homes said he didn’t want to be the cheapest but wanted to build his reputation on quality. That is the key. Jennian is associated with quality and that was echoed so many times when I bought into the business.” Currently operating from display homes in Cambridge and Greenhill Park, along with the recently opened Studio J in East Hamilton, Jennian Homes operates throughout Waika- to from Te Kauwhata in North Waikato, out to Matamata, down to Tirau and across to Raglan. In operation for just 12 months, Studio J is all about visualisation, offering clients design and selection opportunity where they can see, feel and experience a diverse range of materials and products along with bathroom and kitchen displays. The product range encompasses Jennian’s standard, mid price and top–of–the–range options for everything from bench tops, tap- ware, bricks and vanities to flooring, window options, door handles and heating. “Clients can mix and match between price levels to suit their budget and needs, placing emphasis on the things that are most impor- tant to them. “We also run very relaxed information eve- nings once a month where we demystify the building process, and offer our advice backed up with a combined experience of over 60 years in the building industry. The whole idea is to make the building process smoother and less complicated for the customer.” While Jennnian Homes works with property developers and investors in the Waikato to present clients with house and land packages, Jennian Homes shines when it works with in- dividual clients in respect to design and build projects. Howard says the Jennian Homes’ customer experience starts with the initial steps when the client calls into Studio J or one of the dis- play homes to speak with an experienced new home consultant. “The customer will be shown different plan selections, materials and cladding options but more importantly we do the foundational work of ensuring the site can be built on with the type of home the client wants. “The section always dictates the style and size of home. All of our plans are a base- line and can be modified to suit the client’s requirements and lifestyle. We will also go out and actually have the whole plan quoted, which is a key point of difference for us in this highly volatile market with constant price increases. “ The customer then gets a very detailed bottom line price, which only fluctuates in the event of variations.” Jennian Homes’ broad range encompass- es 160sqm three bedroom, two-bathroom homes built in many of the subdivisions, right through to high-end architecturally designed 400sqm homes. Towards the end of this year two highly architectural display homes designed in the iconic Cape Codd style will showcase the very best of Jennian Homes. Located in Cambridge’s Pukekura Park the two storey Hampton range homes are ideally suited to the lifestyle and rural end of the market. “That market is very popular in the Waikato because of the availability of lifestyle sections. One of the houses is 300sqm while the other is 400sqm. Both homes will be unique in design, unique in materials and will speak of quality right throughout, showcasing brand Jennian and a diverse product range. James Har- die Axon Panel has been used extensively throughout the homes’ interior.” Another soon to be completed show home in Morrinsville’s Lockerbie Estate will show- case the high quality infused throughout a 170sqm home and designed for smaller sections in the new subdivision market. “We want to make sure that people come back to us in five, ten or twenty five years time and say they’re proud to own their Jennian Home, just like they do now.” Congratulations to Jennian Homes “We specialise in excavation & cartage” 07 871 3894 / 021 746 108 Shayne & Denise Hamilton SERVICES LTD WCLGroup are proud to support JennianHomes Cambridge o ice@wclgroup.co.nz www.wclgroup.co.nz 07 849 4818 PA I N T I N G P R O F E S S I O N A L S SUPPLY • FIX • STOP • PAINT
