It’s an exciting development for Hawke’s Bay’s roading and construction sector. “We’re now one of the largest suppliers of high-quality, high-specification aggregates in the region, and we’re seeing excellent levels of demand,” says Courtney Pratt, regional manager of Fulton Hogan’s East Coast. “It’s a busy time here with a number of significant projects underway and we’re proud to be a part of it.” Complementing the Fernhill Quarry is Fulton’s Hogan’s recently opened Sandy Creek Quarry at Tutira that supplies aggregates to rural Hawke’s Bay. Fulton Hogan’s technical teams work side by side with their crews to improve the industry standard. In Hawke’s Bay, Fulton Hogan has invested to grow their technical expertise over the last year, including starting an IANZ accredited lab business. Their skilled laboratory team has three technical specialists testing aggregates and other products to ensure they are of a consistently high standard. “With our dedicated laboratory team and sophisticated lab systems, we can maintain a high quality of materials and output and we’re committed to fast turnarounds with accurate reporting,” Courtney says. Quality defines every part of the business. Fulton Hogan’s East Coast team has recently expanded its surfacing capabilities with the addition of new paving and spraying equipment. With state-of-the-art plant, and skilled, welltrained teams, Fulton Hogan has a proven formula for high performance on asphalt delivery and chip sealing.
