| 25 REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT Rotorcraft: Construct Ltd - C&L Partners The new building will include offices, a large hangar and workshops. From there Rotorcraft will continue to offer services in maintenance, avionics and maintenance control to clients from all round the country, with the work ranging from routine servicing to major rebuilds and everything in between. The company currently has about 50 helicopters on its servicing books, with their clients comprising a mix of private owners and commercial operators such as Heli A1 and Volcanic Air. Since the two Brads took over in 2017 the market has moved routinely between steady and buoyant, with the state of the agricultural industries being a key element in determining demand. “As agricultural operators are a big part of our business we anticipate a dip in demand for our services this year because of uncertainty in the farming outlook,” Brad Collins says. “Agricultural work is naturally cyclical and has been part of the business since we took over, so we aren’t too worried if it slides a bit this year,” he says. “Tourism work is starting to come back, and there are opportunities in other areas of aviation that we can pursue.” Proudly associated with Rotorcraft Plumbing & Gasfitting Specialists 27 Cook Street, Cambridge, Waikato Email: office@cominsplumbing.co.nz Phone: 07 823 7263 12323 02-22 0800 273
