| 61 Saint Properties: Ohinewai Estate Staying true to the land, its natural beauty and contours is a key requirement for any development undertaken by Saint Properties. DEVELOPMENT When it comes to the demolition of buildings, it is experience, the right equipment for the job and a focus on the customer’s needs that really matters, and that is where Hamilton’s A1 Civil and Demolition shines, every time. Managing Director Trent Stibbard amassed thirty years’ experience working in the Australian civil construction industry before moving to New Zealand and working for a company specialising in the demolition of residential and commercial buildings. When the opportunity arose to establish his own business last year, Trent didn’t need to think twice and now has a growing list of loyal customers including property developers, local Councils and private residential owners who regularly call for his expertise. “I also work in very closely with Prestige Building Removal and Saint Properties, o ering the option of a demolition if that is preferred,” says Trent. “We operate the latest machinery and equipment, with eco-friendly excavators and trucks that use the least amount of diesel as possible. We have a large suite of specialised attachments that enable us to carry out the demolition project safely and e iciently. The key is that the client has the con idence that we can arrive at a job and the machinery is reliable.” Based in Hamilton, A1 Civil and Demolition operates throughout the upper North Island. Shining every time As well as specialising in the demolition of buildings, Trent and his team will expertly clear the whole site including shrubs and trees where there is resource consent to do so, preparing the site for redevelopment, including the construction of building sand pads. “The buildings we demolish are typically houses up to two or three storeys, along with some commercial buildings,” says Trent. “We also specialise in those challenging projects, where the building to be demolished is in very close proximity to other building and require a high level of care, and experience. Every e ort is made to recycle materials from the buildings being demolished, with roo ing iron, interior materials and native timbers, double glazed windows, aluminium, and concrete all going to di erent recycling merchants. “The focus is to avoid waste and protect the environment by minimising what is taken away to land ill. In Saint Properties Ohinewai Estate development we have completed a massive demolition of an old engineering shed, recycling all the steel, iron and concrete. We then recontoured an existing hill, prepared the site for rural fencing, excavated the main access road and illed in with base metal. We are now about to start the culverts o the street, so that each site has its own access.” SERVING THE BAY OF PLENTY & WAIKATO REGIONS DEMOLITION & CIVIL SERVICES 022 307 4500 trent@a1cd.co.nz CONTACT US 522 River Rd, Hamilton www.a1cd.co.nz PROFESSIONAL REGISTERED SURVEYORS • Subdivision • Planning & Resource Management • Project Management • Civil Engineering Design • Construction Setout • Topographical Surveys • Drone Aerial Photography • GPS Control Surveys • Monitoring Surveys • Feasibility Investigations 6 Wilson Street, Cambridge | 07 827 4945 | info@nicklince.co.nz www.nicklince.co.nz CONTACT OUR TEAM TODAY
