REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT www.envelope-eng.co.nz Work is work, but when you find partners, whose values align with your own, work can go to the next level in terms of creativity, outside the box thinking and pushing all team members to excel. And when it comes to matching values and ways to work, Envelope and CPMC are absolutely on the same page. And that page has collaboration, hard graft, and timely, tailored solutions on it. One of the key projects working together included the design, construction and management of bringing to life 38 residential lots in the heart of busy, buzzing Remuera in Auckland, alongside Koraha Reserve. The challenging brief for the sought-after central location was to establish and retain a community feel, while keeping a sense of privacy for residents by being nestled away frommain roads. They also needed to deliver on a diverse range of housing options, from standalone homes to terraced housing, catering for different needs. CPMC, established in 2016, are experts in their field when it comes to developing potential, with all the meanings of that phrase applying. That is, developing the potential of people as much as the land and buildings they work and live in. Director of CPMC and principal to the development, Martin Russell is well versed with over 25 years in property development and maximizing potential. Envelope Director Alan Blyde says working with CPMC means you know you are dealing with highly knowledgeable experts in their field. At the same time, they are adaptable and capable of adjusting strategies to meet changing conditions. "CPMC couples strategic thinking with innovation. They are also very much hands-on and active in their involvement. They are always very much present when we work together.” Envelope started in Wellington in 2015 in a client’s living room, and now has four offices and more than 40 staff. “It’s the same now and it was in 2015. We are all about spirited, creative, hands-in-the dirt-work, and absolutely looking at projects individually to see how and where we can ‘next level’ it,” Alan says. “We also keep work-life balance in mind – for ourselves, for our clients, and for those we are developing and building for. It’s absolutely vital to us.” It's clear that the collaboration and creative thinking is more than just ink on the same page for Envelope and CPMC – it’s a synergy that’s an open book for all.
