Manager Adrian Trumm started in engineering at the age of 20, working his way up to become a manager at his previous company, before deciding he was ready for a change. He had become QS (Quantity Surveying) qualified so when the manager at Perry Grating offered him a QS job he took it, and four years later when his manager left the company he was promoted to the role That was 13 years ago and those engineering and QS skills underpin a lot of what Adrian does as he and his equally skilled colleagues consistently and reliably design, quote, manufacture and deliver the grating systems which are an essential part of so many industrial and commercial enterprises. We also provide a lot of our FRP gratings for floors in substations.” FRP or Fibre Reinforced Polymer is light, cost-effective, non-corrosive and non-combustible which makes it ideal for an electrical substation.
