The franchise, co-owned by Jade and Steve Moore and Blair McRobbie and Samantha Edge, secured the coveted Pool of the Year award for New Zealand, while team member Gregg Imlah took home the top New Zealand salesperson award. The award-winning project, located in Pukekohe, showcased the team’s ability to transform outdoor spaces into stunning lifestyle retreats, says Jade. “It was a really great project – a simple pool but with cool features, outdoor living and landscaping showing what is possible, a real transformation. It’s pretty special to win, and shows what we are capable of at Narellan Auckland South.” The success of Narellan Pools Auckland South is a story of rapid growth and strategic partnerships. The team was already established in the industry – Jade and her husband Steve with their pool fencing and balustrade business Outdoor Edge Northland, and Blair running Outdoor Edge Auckland. Recognising the potential for synergy, the team jumped at the opportunity to purchase the Narellan Pools franchise when it arose in 2019. Jade says Blair’s background in design, landscaping and building has proved invaluable to the business. “His eye for design is a great asset,” Jade says. “When he goes to meet with clients, he’s full of ideas that help them envision the possibilities for their outdoor spaces.” The franchise’s growth has been fuelled in part by the increased demand for home improvements during the pandemic. “Everyone wanted a pool,” Jade says. “We were fortunate to be in a position to meet that demand while maintaining our high standards.” What sets Narellan Pools Auckland South apart is its commitment to a seamless customer experience. “ We are very quality-driven and like to work with our clients from start to finish. We get a lot of feedback about how smooth the process is. This approach extends from the initial design consultation through to the final installation, with Blair personally overseeing each project on-site,” Jade explains.
