According to Quest’s Group General Manager, Adrian Turner everything has been specifically designed to meet the needs of travellers. “Quest offers a sophisticated serviced apartment experience to travellers looking for high quality accommodation that’s in a handy location, provides good value for money with a fully functional space,” says Adrian. “Quest Mt Eden is a prime example of an up-and-coming business hub with increasing demand for this type of accommodation. We’re thrilled to have a brand new offering in the area for corporate and non-corporate travellers.” At the helm of Quest Mt Eden is 23-year-old Nikita Seth who is the youngest franchisee in the history of Quest Apartment Hotels New Zealand. Nikita has grown up around the brand; her father is Kamal Seth is franchisee of Quest on Queen. Nikita has been working at Quest on Queen for several years. Armed with a Bachelor of Business majoring in employment relations and human resources, she is looking forward to putting her skills into practice at Quest Mt Eden. Conveniently located between Mt Eden Village and Eden Terrace, tucked back from the main road on Edwin Street, Quest Mt Eden is within easy walking distance to the shopping and entertainment precinct at Mt Eden Village, and the new City Rail terminal. It offers 52 serviced apartments including studios, one and two bedroom apartments. Nikita says that studios are a popular alternative to a hotel room as each comes with a fully equipped kitchenette, while the one, two and three bedroom apartments cater for families, colleagues or larger groups looking for a home away from home experience. Studios are around 30m² and offer a comfortable king or queen bed, apartment-controlled heating/air conditioning, kitchenette with bar fridge, toaster, kettle and microwave, ensuite bathroom with amenities and hair dryer, desk, LCD TV, washer, dryer, wardrobe, ironing board and iron. A one bedroom apartment is typically 52m² and offers a relaxed living area containing a sofa, LCD TV and work desk. The wellequipped kitchen provides a cooktop, fridge, and dining table. The bathroom offers laundry facilities, amenities and hair dryer. The two bedroom executive apartment is a studio interconnected with a one bedroom apartment and comprises around 82m². Both bedrooms can be configured as either a king or two single beds. “The openings in the next year reflect locations which will benefit from the presence of a new accommodation provider.” A daily housekeeping service, excluding Sunday and public holidays, is included. Quest offers options such as breakfast packs or having a charge back relationship with local restaurants and cafes to make things convenient. Due to its location Quest Mt Eden has a selection of restaurants and cafés all within minutes of the apartment hotel. Alternatively guests can chose to stay in and cook in the comfort of their room. Quest offers a pantry shopping service and can have groceries delivered to guests’ apartments. Rooms are set up so travellers can easily work with a desk, complementary unlimited high-speed internet access, direct dial phones, in-room desks and business administration services. Adrian says building a relationship with returning guests is fundamental for Quest and due to the repeat nature of their business, it is important to ensure that they always have a reliable experience no matter where in the country they might stay at a Quest.
