OTC Projects was founded in 2022 by Oliver and Miriam Tuck, who brought their extensive experience from the award-winning, high-end residential business, Oliver Tuck Construction, to their expansion into large-scale commercial, industrial, and multi-dwelling residential projects. Marsden is a development on its way to transforming the existing land into a vibrant community hub to live, work and play in. Company construction manager Nick Shanks says a private plan change that became operative in June 2023 captures Auckland-based developer Southpark Corporation’s vision to provide a viable and sustainable town centre in the Ruakākā/Marsden Point area, which integrates with the surrounding residential and commercial zones. OTC Projects is currently engaged by Southpark to fulfil various roles within the development, including project management relating to master planning/urban design, liaising with local and regional authorities, civil tendering and analysis, managing and executing bulk earthworks, and developing construction environmental plans. These are roles that reflect OTC Projects’ capability to provide professional industry services with meticulous attention to every phase. Another role for OTC Projects includes the design and build of nine entry-level architectural homes within the first residential stage – a 49-lot, medium-density subdivision at the corner of Theodore Drive and Roosevelt Road. Sections range from 480sqm to 650sqm, and are reflective of market demand. “We’re underway with stage one, with four houses currently under construction and another five commencing shortly,” says Nick.
