| 29 The looring within the new Sleepyhead Estate industrial manufacturing facility, completed by Solid Floors, introduces new technology to New Zealand that is “the future of looring for the industrial sector”, says Solid Floors owner Grant Foster. Called Husqvarna Hipertrowel, the solution itted the project criteria, providing a cost e ective, long life loor that is easily maintained and provides an aesthetic inish. The process mixes the established densi ied polish concrete technology of Husqvarna Hiper loor and the speed of wet polishing with ride-on concrete trowels systems. The concrete is treated with Hiperhard Providing a full flooring system - Solid Floors densi iers, which soak into the concrete substrate, penetrating deep into the concrete structure to seal and harden the concrete fromwithin for life. This is then processed with high-speed diamond polishing machinery to re ine the surface inish through the de ined polishing system to produce anything from a low sheen to high gloss surface inish. The result is a super sealed and harden concrete surface that will handle the wear and tear of an industrial facility to the high aesthetic of a supermarket loor.
