They ran a construction company, and I later went on to work and study hospitality management in Australia and France,” says John. “I bring a depth of understanding about the demands of retail and what makes it work.” This understanding of the retail and hospitality environment, combined with years working in his family’s construction business, gave him a unique edge when launching JP Project Management. Other notable fit-outs include Chao’s Yogurt at Westfield Albany, Crack Chicken at Willis Lane, Juno, and U Sushi_HG. Beyond retail, JPPM has also handled complex office refurbishments, such as the full head office fit-out for Hella New Zealand. “It was a complete refurbishment of head office. We stripped the space back to the shell and rebuilt it with a new configuration, including a modern kitchenette and staff areas.” Their project management capabilities include new builds, both residential and commercial, renovation, recladding, extensions and shop fit-outs.
