Based in Papakura, South Auckland, the small business employs 12 staff across its manufacturing facility and office. Much of the team has been with the company for over seven years, reflecting a strong sense of loyalty and commitment. “We have a loyal workforce, who focus on creating really great products,” says Kelvin. Counties Aluminium manufactures, sells, and installs premium Vantage windows and doors. The product range includes Vantage entrance doors, Klima windows and doors – an innovative line of uPVC joinery designed specifically for New Zealand conditions and featuring advanced AGP glass technology, and ThermalHeart+ window and door systems, which offer enhanced thermal performance. Counties Aluminium is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and high-quality products – from bespoke, made-to-order manufacturing tailored to customer specifications through to final installation. The company supplies both new builds and renovation projects, working with housing companies, private homeowners, and builders. With an average lead time of just four weeks for finished products, it offers a faster and more efficient solution without compromising on quality. “We are locally owned and operated. We’re selling a New Zealand made product start to finish. For me it’s all about quality and service,” says Kelvin. What sets Counties Aluminium apart is its partnership with the Vantage brand – one of New Zealand’s oldest and most respected names in aluminium windows and doors. Established in the 1970s, Vantage stands out for its focus on research, development and design, creating some of the most advanced products on the market. Known for using high-quality New Zealand-manufactured aluminium, Vantage has also developed outstanding thermal technology, delivering superior performance in insulation and energy efficiency, as well as acoustic performance. These products are perfect for landlords aiming to meet New Zealand’s healthy homes standards for insulation, and anyone wanting a drier, quieter and warmer home. “I personally believe that there isn’t a better product on the market,” says Kelvin. Vantage windows and doors are available in a wide selection of colours and finishes, using Dulux powder coatings in either Duralloy or Protexture. Vantage windows and doors can also be made using anodised aluminium, which is a durable and colour-fast technology that is an alternative to powder coating. The ThermalHEART range of windows and doors, which exceed the current government requirements for thermal efficiency, include Architectural Series, Metro Series, Metro Series with Centrafix, and Residential Series. Combined with state-of-the-art AGP glass, they offer a durable, high-end custom-made product for any project.
