Kelly Deeks W ith professional, innovative, and independent design, supply, fit-out, and project management services, ildfire Commercial Kitchens & Bars has suc- cessfully consulted and commissioned many of New Zealand’s most prominent commercial food service projects. Wildfire’s clients range from restaurants, cafés and bars, through to production kitchens, aged care and educational facilities, hospitals, and stadiums. “We offer an innovative and professional de- sign service, which identifies the critical issues early on to improve cost effectiveness, both in the initial fit-out and with ongoing equipment costs,” says Wildfire general manager Craig Cunningham. “Our objective is to provide a comprehensive solution which meets budget, space allocation, equipment specification, and performance requirements.” As a completely independent supplier, Wild- fire and its clients enjoy the luxury of being able to access whichever products are going to best suit their purposes. “Our customers can get what they actually want, and a lot of them do know exactly what they want. Our advantage is we can suit the brand to the cus- tomer, rather than being dictated to by agency brands or business alliances.” Wildfire has now joined forces with com- mercial food service equipment provider Stoddart New Zealand, joining two long-es- tablished family-owned companies and collectively offering improved product ranges and supply chain options for Wildfire and its customers. Craig assures customers Wildfire will contin- ue to be operated independently by its exist- ing management. “It’s business as usual in the project space,” he says. “We will continue to deliver our independent and boutique design and construction services in this dynamic, changing, and uncertain marketplace.” Wildfire has used a range of Stoddart prod- ucts for a number of years. Recently Stoddart took over the New Zealand distribution of Halton, one of the world’s leading brands of commercial kitchen ventilation systems, in- cluding extraction hoods and ventilated ceiling systems. “We see the value in Halton systems and other agency brands held by Stoddart that tie in with our ethos,” Craig says. “This new relationship allows us to better under- stand these products.” Wildfire has even used its own experience of what its customers want and need to devel- op its own range of wood fired grills, the Wild Series, in collaboration with Authentic Ovens. These grills allow restaurants to offer an inter- active dining experience with the excitement of open flame grilling. A recent Wildfire project at the unique Eight Restaurant in the Cordis Hotel features one of these grills. Eight Restaurant offers a special dining experience featuring the flavours of eight international kitchens, each one hosted by an expert chef. This was a return to Eight Restaurant for Wildfire, which 10 years ago designed and installed the original restaurant. “We were thrilled to be engaged to refresh the Eight kitchens and bar stations, plus design and install a new event kitchen and bar areas,” Craig says. “The impressive kitchens and equipment line-up rival any high end hospitality facility.” Proudly supporting Wildfire Commercial Kitchens & Bars Ltd www.stainlesskitchens.co.nz Phone: (09) 636 9763 Auckland Phone: (03) 348 1190 Christchurch sales@stainlesskitchens.co.nz - Benches - Extraction Canopies - Bollards - Wall Protection and General Metal Work - Architectural - Trolley bays - Handrail - Lab and Medical www.whiterefrigera on.co.nz | info@whiterefrigera on.co.nz | Phone 09 376 5680 | 17 Westmorland St West, Grey Lynn, Auckland 1021 White Refrigeraon (1988) Limited specialists in Refrigeraon and HVAC services. • Design • Supply • Installaon • Maintenance • Service
