Scotty, who grew up with a real passion for food and spent 20 years in the international food business, started Blue Frog Breakfast in 2015 seeking a great cereal to impress his young family. The brand has built its success on quality ingredients and great taste combining to deliver a healthy product. Innovation has been at the heart of the business. For example in 2017 it launched the world’s irst probiotic porridge. It was no mean feat as probiotic strains are typically heat sensitive so Blue Frog Breakfast had to ind one with a protective shell that would survive the digestive process until it reached the gut ready to activate. Scotty says giving customers want they want and staying ahead of market trends is an important aspect of Blue Frog Breakfast. Two innovative new products launched in early 2021 that re lect the current trend for low carb grain-free products are the company’s two 87% nuts and seeds cereals: Macadamia, Almond & Manuka Honey and Cashew, Almond & Maple. They quickly became the company’s biggest selling itemwithin just weeks of launching. Blue Frog Breakfast’s healthy, tasty products also have sustainability at their heart and re lect the company’s ethos of giving back and doing good.
