Training can be tailored to the cadets interests and if that was quarrying they could end up with B Grade and A Grade certificates, enabling them to operate a quarry.” Stevenson’s goal is to visit schools and get the kids – both boys and girls – thinking about quarrying as a career of choice, and how Ste- “It’s an exciting business to be in and we can show them that it can be long term, not a stepping stone.
