Working alongside HEB, Downer and Smith Crane & Construction, Auckland Cranes helped to deliver the successful project, which saw a canopy weighing 105 tonnes put in place above the gangway accessing the new ferry pontoons. It was installed from a floating barge using two cranes 65 metres long and 15 metres wide.
