Urban Homes is accelerating its nationwide expansion, unveiling a new high-end show home in Tamahere, Hamilton, while rolling out franchising opportunities across New Zealand. The launch represents the first of several show homes planned this year, with even more expected as the company brings new franchisees on board. Located at 214a Newell Road, the Tamahere show home opened in late March and has already attracted significant attention. “We had an amazing turnout – it was one of our strongest show home openings ever,” says Daniel Klinkenberg, co-founder of Urban Homes. “The feedback was incredible, with many people commenting on the level of detail, design and craftsmanship that our team have delivered. “It’s open 12 to 4pm Wednesday to Sunday for anyone who’d like to come through, gather ideas and get a feel for what’s possible. It’s a great example of the kind of design-and-build outcomes we aim to help our clients achieve.” The 342sqm home sits on a 6000sqm section and features four bedrooms, two bathrooms, two living areas, and a double-car garage. Its design draws inspiration from the Deep South, with feature bagged stone cladding, warm timber detailing and raking ceilings that combine elegance with comfort.
