These are some of the key things that set Barrett Homes apart and led to the company winning at the Tauranga 2020 Westpac Business Awards. “We have the right people, capability and capacity for today and the future to deliver our vision - striving to produce sustainable performance for our clients through contin- uous improvement,” says company director Mike Bryant. Barrett Homes was formed in 2013 by Mike and Laura Bryant and Grant Eynon. Since then the company has grown exponentially to now completing approximately 150 new homes each year in New Zealand. Mike says that sound policies have stream- lined workflow enabling the company to consistently deliver high quality. Looking after staff is a major focus as evi- denced by the fact that the company took out the Health and Safety award at the Westpac Business Awards. The award recognises a business that demonstrates excellence in workplace health and safety practices and that has successfully integrated these into its operation. A positive safety culture exists at all levels within the business. Mike says health and safety is just part of the successful formula that sees Barrett Homes deliver a customer experience that’s second to none. The company was also a finalist in the Con- tinuous Improvement/Lean, Manufacturing and/or Distribution, People and Culture and Business of the Year awards. “At Barrett Homes an all-inclusive build package means no unexpected surprises and much more value; landscaping, fixtures and fittings, in-house interior design advice and the unique Barrett Better Build Programme that keeps clients updated every step of the way,” says Mike. “We have a world class system for every project from concept to completion and we constantly strive to deliver great outcomes and results,” he says. Locally owned and operated, Barrett Homes is not a franchise. It operates from a head office in Papamoa, where the majority of its staff are based, an also has satellite locations in Cromwell and Whangarei and more recently Taupo and Gisborne. • CARPET • TIMBER • LAMINATE • VINYL Proud to be associated with Barrett Homes 25 Koromiko Street, Tauranga | 1A Tara Road, Papamoa t: 07 577 1009 w: www.flooringxtra.co.nz e: tauranga@geflooring.co.nz GREIG & ESTERMAN 5a MacDonald St, MT Maunganui P. 07 575 7755 www.tilemax.co.nz Come in store for an amazing range of tiles to suit all tastes and budgets
