DO OUR READERS KNOW YOU EXIST? When it comes to the work that Air Mark Group completes for large clients such as Auckland Airport Property it all boils down to trust. “They need to know we will meet their deadlines, deliver the high quality they require and be flexible and responsive to their needs,” says Air Mark Group director Ray Sayegh. “The fact we have been working on their projects for over a decade speaks volumes.” Air Mark Group comprises Air Mark Services and Air Mark Maintenance. The beginnings of the group originated in 2004, started by Ray and fellow director Mark Jacobs. Ray is proud that Air Mark Group has now grown to become one of New Zealand’s leading experts in HVAC installation, service and maintenance. Based in Rosedale on the North Shore of Auckland the company works all over the region. Air Mark Services covers air conditioning and ventilation design, installation and commissioning. This arm of the group covers all sizes and types of installations, from one off heat pumps to large commercial and residential installations. Ray says it offers clients a full service via a team of fully trained and qualified installers. This means better quality control and a more timely service, says Ray. Constant investment in new equipment and HVAC technologies allow the company to deliver energy efficient, cost-effective, and professional HVAC services for a range of clients in New Zealand and Australia. It is backed up by Air Mark Maintenance, which carries out HVAC maintenance and service work for prominent businesses throughout New Zealand. Air Mark Maintenance offers clients a variety of different maintenance regimes to meet their requirements and at competitive prices, says Air Mark Maintenance general manager Gwyn Morgan. He says the division has enjoyed consistent, solid and strong growth, something he attributes to putting the needs and requirements of clients first at all times. “Our relationships with our clients are very important to use and we put a lot of time into finding out their requirements so we can deliver to their expectations. “Responsiveness is vital. We offer a 24/7 emergency call out service so we can get their system back up and running as quickly as possible,” he says. Professionalism and on-going training is important. For example Gwyn is a highly experienced HVAC expert with over 30 years’ experience in the industry and also holds an IQP (Independent Qualified person) registration. “We take the utmost pride in our team and the professionalism that they display at all times. “For our client’s assurances in the professional HVAC maintenance services that we provide, all our HVAC engineers are qualified,” says Gwyn. The directors of the Air Mark Group, Ray and Mark, are hands on with many years’ experience in a variety of air conditioning and ventilation applications. Both are members of a variety of industry organisations. Ray holds a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and Mark holds a BE (Mech) and NZCE (HVAC). Both Mark and Ray have worked within the air conditioning sector internationally and are members of the American Society of Heating (ASHRAE), Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers, the Institute of Refrigeration, Heating & Air Conditioning Engineers of New Zealand Inc, as well as the Climate Control Companies Association. Air Mark Group has built a solid reputation over the years as the go-to HVAC specialists and has worked on a broad range of large projects including major hotels, offices and office-warehouses, multi-unit apartments, hospitals, universities and restaurants. The company’s work for Auckland Airport Property is indicative of the scope of expertise and includes Quad 5, Quad 7, Aviation Security, Ibis Hotel, Hellman, Toll, Ministry for Primary Industries and DSV. Most recently it completed the mechanical services for the Auckland Airport Property owned mammoth Foodstuffs distribution warehouse. “Air Mark has enjoyed a solid client base for many years now,” says Ray. “We always strive to build upon the sound reputation that we have built over the years by providing our clients with air conditioning, heating, and ventilation services that they can rely upon. “We’re proud to have been able to support Auckland Airport Property for over a decade and look forward to assisting them into the future.”
