Sales manager, Louise Roose Butcher, says the quality of the product offering is secondto-none, the result of three passionate veteran craftsmen, Greg, Brent and Hayden, getting together to start the company in 2021. “One of the things that’s really special about what the team create is that every thought has been put into the very best utilisation of space,” Louise says. “It’s amazing how these small, transportable homes feel bigger when you’re inside. Add decking once settled on a site and you have a really lovely home, at a super-reasonable cost,” she says. In the yard at Pukekohe, the build process is carefully systemised to ensure minimal waste, efficient build time, attention to every detail and consistent high quality from beginning to end of the build. Constructed on a steel chassis, Novature Homes range in size from 15sqm to 56sqm, with a variety of floor plans available. Landmark Homes North Shore and Rodney is expert in strategies that allow people to fully utilise the land their current home may be sitting on and release capital so they can live the life they want. “With a large section, people can potentially subdivide to create additional sites, sell those sites and use the funds to rebuild a brand-new home for themselves,” explains Jarrod Angove, Landmark Homes North Shore and Rodney’s franchise general manager. “Our approach allows people to potentially finance a new home without significant out-of-pocket expenses.” Landmark Homes North Shore and Rodney offers a free site-evaluation report to help homeowners understand their development options. “We offer several pathways for property development,” says Jarrod. “These include removing existing dwellings, subdividing rear sections, or developing bare land into multiple properties. We really tailor our process to fit individual homeowners, rather than offering a one-size-fits-all service.” The Bennett family is a case in point. The Bennetts had lived in their home sited on a 1250sqm section on O’Neill’s Avenue in Takapuna’s prestigious ‘Golden Mile’, for over 25 years. For the Bennetts, the strategy was for Landmark Homes North Shore and Rodney to build a new home and purchase the rear sites for development. The result was three cohesive properties featuring a monochromatic exterior of split stone and dark-stained cedar. The Bennetts received a modern, 300sqm home with a small swimming pool, while retaining their original road frontage. The interior features herringbone oak parquetry, a kitchen with timber veneer throughout, black tiling and an integrated fridge and Miele appliances. The master bedroom has a full fitted walk-in robe and ensuite. The ground floor offers expansive open-plan living with entertaining spaces and a media room or second living area. “These homes not only showcase the ul- “We’re not a cookie-cutter operation. A lot of our builds are customised from our basic designs. We can mirror-image a certain design element to suit each customer’s wishes, and all our homes are built by qualified builders, or those learning the trade under supervision.” A build typically takes about six to eight weeks on the steel chassis, and Novature can organise all aspects of its delivery and settling on site, and completing additional landscaping should this be required. Novature’s show home is based on the Muriwai plan, found on the company’s website. “This is a really popular transportable small home and is the largest single-chassis dwelling at 56sqm. It’s ideal for families, retired living or as quality holiday accommodation. The bathroom can be supplied with full disability features and the range comes in either two or three bedrooms.” Muriwai is supplied on a galvanised four-axle trailer with a removable draw bar at each end for ease of moving. There is also a range of cladding options available, using Colorsteel with feature weatherboard options, including pine shiplap or Weathertex sheeting. All transportable homes are completed to the NZS 3604 building standard, guaranteeing a warm, structurally sound, high-quality built home. timate in luxury with the finest appliances and materials, they also demonstrate a sophisticated use of space,” says Jarrod. He says the Landmark Homes North Shore and Rodney team is dedicated to providing expert guidance, suggestions and recommendations based on their extensive industry expertise. Owner Paul Brett, a licensed building practitioner with over 30 years of experience, specialises in the luxury home market. Co-owner, Debbie Brett, brings her background in management and human resources to efficiently manage the administrative aspects of the business. The team of professionals includes designers, project managers and a quantity surveyor, boasting a collective experience of over 200 years in residential construction. The company’s expertise was recently recognised at the 2024 Trends International Design Awards, where it secured multiple accolades. “Each member of our team is deeply passionate about the industry and their craft. Our primary focus is delivering the finest outcomes for our clients, attending to every detail throughout the process,” says Jarrod. Other options offered include design and build on clients’ own land and house-and- land packages currently available in Govan Wilson Road, Whangaripo, between Matakana and Mangawhai and Weiti Bay. Landmark Homes operates across diverse locations, from Takapuna and Milford to rural lifestyle blocks in Coatesville and holiday destinations like Omaha and Matakana. It offers a range of award-winning designs as a great starting point for any new build. “With Landmark Homes people get the benefit of a bespoke architectural build partnered with repeatable systems and processes in a company that’s over 45 years old.” Jarrod says there is still lots of potential for subdivision and rebuild projects within Auckland, especially in some of the higher-end areas. “It can be a very worthwhile option for those with large sections looking to finance a new home without having to leave the location they love.” Gold franchisee of the year: 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018, 2019 2020 2021 2022 & 2023 PH. 09 2634 000 | EMAIL. info@vistalitesouth.co.nz www.vistalite.co.nz VISTALITE SOUTH IS PROUDLY SUPPORTING NOVATURE info@vant gewindows.co.nz CONTACT US TODAY 09 478 9924 jarrod.angove@landmarkhomes.co.nz With a unique design heritage of over 45 years, we strive to go beyond the ordinary.
