Alastair was appointed chief executive of the Dairy Goat Co-operative in May last year, following a career in horticulture, which included five years as chief executive of Turners & Growers Global. The co-operative is well-positioned to capitalise on increasing consumer awareness of gut health and the unique advantages of goat milk. “There is still immense potential for growth in this market,” says Alastair. “If you took a huge market, say like China, we might be sitting at 1% of that market, say.
