Riggall Roofing CONTRACTING Riggall Roofing, a family-owned-and-operated Hamilton business, has rapidly made a name for itself as a trusted provider and installer of quality roofing and wall cladding services throughout the Waikato. Founded in 2021 by René Riggall, a qualified long-run roofing installer, and Matt Price, a specialist in metal tile roofing, the company has grown steadily, due to its commitment to customer satisfaction and quality work, one project at a time. René’s wife Michala handles administrative tasks with personable proficiency. Licensed building practitioners and specialists in long-run roofing, wall cladding and metal tile installations, Riggall Roofing offers a broad range of services tailored to residential, light commercial and rural building projects. From re-roofing existing structures to outfitting new builds, the team takes pride in their craftsmanship and attention to detail. “We keep the team smaller so we can keep the quality higher,” says René. “It’s not about volume for us, we just focus on what we’re doing and make sure we get it right, one excellent project at a time.” Riggall Roofing excels in niche architectural designs and new roofing for group builders and townhouse developments. Rural buildings and kitset sheds and homes are another forte, delivering long run roofing and wall cladding solutions for every purpose. The company has recently gained membership with RANZ, the Roofing Association of New Zealand, further solidifying its reputation for excellence. Riggall Roofing has completed several standout projects across Waikato, Coromandel and Taupo, including Project Archer – a modern beach home featuring an all-black metal aesthetic, achieved using Ebony Trimform from NZ Steel & Tube for both the roof and walls. René describes this Matarangi dwelling as “entirely black, bar some cedar timber features” with seamlessly matched flashing detail. Project Hoods at Pukekohe transformed a basic steel-frame kitset sleep-out into a stylish house. In collaboration with The Roofing Store, Riggall Roofing created a visually striking two-tone structure, using TRS5 in Ironsand for the roof and Colorsteel Titania for the walls. “We did another kitset following that, and this was in a different profile corrugate, looks a bit softer. The contrasting darker roof with neutral exterior cladding makes it look more like a house than a shed,” says René. A sharp and sleek finish for a new, two-storey apartment building in Hamilton was the result with Project Harrowfield. Some creative problem solving was required, due to its height and lower-pitch roof, utilising a crane to move the Colorsteel Trimform roofing in ebony black, up and onto the roof. The company also manages the entire roofing process, from supplying materials to handling on-site requirements such as scaffolding and health and safety compliance. Riggall Roofing provides fast and accurate quotes, often delivered within 48 hours using Google Maps for precise measurements. Transparent communication and excellent time management are the company hallmarks. Looking ahead, the outlook is positive, says René. “We’ve had our biggest year yet, and it’s been really cool to see clients returning because of the quality and reliability we deliver.” F O R E S I T E P L A N T + C I V I L F O R E S I T E CO N S T R U C T I O N DIGGER HIRE OPERATOR AVAILABLE 027 597 1679 PROJECT MANAG<D<EK E<N 9L@C;J 8>I@:LCKLI8C GIFA<:KJ nathan@foresiteconstruction.co.nz
