Method Group DEVELOPMENT M ethod Group was formed with a focus on quality and innovation, delivering the best outcomes possible to clients. Established in 2019 by Mo Barzandeh, Julian Huggins and Matt Martin, all of who boast long careers in the construction industry, this all adds up to one thing: experience. This often saves clients time and money, says Matt. “We focus on the whole life cycle of a pro- ject, from forecasting to feasibility to design to delivery,” he says. “This enables us to offer best value by spot- ting any potential problems and streamlining the process.” This also means that Method Group can take on challenging projects and has quickly developed a reputation for planning and deliv- ering complex work to a high quality. As all directors are involved with their clients this enables Method Group to maintain control on every project. It also means a per- sonal service and accountability, says Matt. “We like to keep the company structure flat so contractors can call us direct and so can our clients with any questions they might have. Honest, open communication is impor- tant to a successful project.” Method Group also takes on build-only contracts if the client desires. Matt says the company secures cost upfront with contractors then carefully manages the delivery. This is where the team’s skills in project management and site safety really come to the fore. Julian and Matt are Licensed Building Practitioners and the company is a member of Site Safe. Matt says meticulous planning is an impor- tant part of any project. “This means we can often highlight any potential issues at a design stage so they can be sorted out early. “By being involved upfront where possible we can also utilise our expertise and expe- rience from numerous projects to ensure coordination of the many moving parts of any project all work together seamlessly. “This means reduced risk of variations on site.” A recent project is a good example: a mixed-use project at 861 New North Road, Auckland. The project includes apartments and retail. One floor has been leased to the Ministry of Social Development. Being a corner site on a busy road logistical planning was the most essential part of the project, says Matt. “It’s on a Category 1 road so it was devel- oping the right traffic management plan and sorting construction logistics for items such as scaffolding and craneage. “We had to plan the construction methodol- ogy and sequencing in detail.” Method Group is also presently working on a six-townhouse development at 641 Sandringham Road, the design of a retail development at Broadway Newmarket and a Heritage Home in Grafton demonstrating the company’s versatility. Matt says having “happy, repeat clients” is always the aim. “No matter what the project at Method Group, we’re always focused on understand- ing the project brief and our client’s needs,” he says. “This is how we’re able to tailor our services to meet their exact project requirements every time. “We want to show our clients how and why we’re better than the rest.” Work with the affordable, local plumbers in Auckland who get the job done right the first time Unit C, 63 Apollo Drive, Rosedale, Auckland, P 0508 438 324 E service@eagleplumbing.co.nz W eagleplumbing.co.nz Contact: 027 498 8743 Address: 100 Hugo Johnston Drive, Penrose PO: PO Box 12039, Penrose Central, Auckland 1642 Email: Kenneth@leaderscaffolding.co.nz P (09) 486 7626 M 021 977 063 E service@victorcontractors.co.nz W victorcontractors.co.nz Quality electrical solutions to all manner of installations and projects Proud to support Method Group Phone : 0800 N E TILING (638 454) | Web : www.neweratilingnz.co.nz
