All kitchens are imported using top of the line German Gaggenau appliances. “For the interior design we worked with Stewart Harris from Mcintosh Harris Design. We have worked with Stewart previously and enjoy the value he brings to the project.” Structural engineers for the project were Auckland-based BGT Structures while lead contractor was CMP Construction. “CMP are based in Auckland but they oper- ate around the country,’ says Colin. “We’ve worked with them for 25 years now. One of the great things about CMP is that they come out of the ground fast. They do the big moves very quickly. And this allows them to complete projects on time.” Reflecting on the project, which is due for completed mid-2021, Colin says it was a most satisfying project to be involved in. “Everybody was on the same page and wanted to do a good job. “There was no value engineering and look- ing for cost cutting and tricky ways to save a buck at the expense of the purchaser. “The cohesiveness of the construction team was very important.
