American Express has launched a new Gold Rewards Credit Card with new dining bene ts set to provide value to both consumers and the local hospitality sector. “We know New Zealanders have a great passion for dining out, so we wanted to deliver an exciting, new card that would provide bene ts that they would love,” says Country Manager for American Express New Zealand, Rob Bourne. One of the only dining-focused credit cards in the market, Card Members will receive two $100 dining credits each year to be used at any of American Express’ Local Dining Collection partner restaurants. Rob says that the restaurants have been carefully selected from winners of the American Express Cuisine Good Food Awards as well as other top-rated restaurants across Aotearoa such as Ben Bayly’s acclaimed eatery Ahi, the seasonal and soulful Alma, Hopgoods & Co. and Aosta in Arrowtown. There are already 85 restaurants that people can choose from with the Local Dining Collection continuing to grow.
