We Construct and Nest Living have worked together on previous projects and have established a strong relationship based upon a shared vision of quality and meeting the customers’ needs. Beautifully designed by Auckland practice Phil Taylor Architecture, the Te Atatu Road townhouses on the peninsula are being built on a 1756sqm site over two neighbouring properties. Two existing homes, one a very tiny 1960s home and the other a larger 1960s brick and tile bungalow were removed from site in February this year, with construction of the new homes commencing shortly after. “We hope to be finished in December this year, or less,” says Tristan. “I love the speed that we can build these townhouses at. Ranging from 155sqm to 57.5sqm, with a mix of one and a half beds, three beds and four bedrooms, six of the town houses will be two storey and fourteen will be three storey. The high-end finish will embrace the principles of durability and easy care, complemented with smart contemporary design utilising a combination of metal, brick and Hardie materials for the exterior.
