Matthew says both projects demonstrate the innovation and capabilities of his team. “It shows we can understand and interpret our clients’ needs then deliver an e ective solution. Connecting the Central Interceptor Connecting the Central Interceptor Tunnel to the Mangere Treatment Plant is a vital piece of the $1.2B project. The Seipp Team have brought their innovative thinking and broad skill base to solving the challenge of welding and then installing the twin 1.4m diameter PE pipes through one of the largest Wastewater Treatment Plants in Australasia. Working with strict environmental controls just 5m from the Manukau Harbour the team have successfully installed 700m of the twin pipeline. Our client has confirmed that the project has been extremely well managed by a highly competent team, that have vast knowledge and experience to draw upon. Seipp managed their own site with a rigid and detailed CEP (Construction Execution Planning) system, enhanced by developing detailed SWMS. The extensive work put into developing these plans received excellent feedback and formed a vital part of our goal to “create excellence through world class planning”.
