Vonbon Homes: Milldale BUILDING Eric came to New Zealand from China in 2004 to study carpentry. After qualifying in 2006 he immediately gained experience working for building companies and sharpening his skills. In 2012 Vonbon Homes had its beginnings started by Eric and wife Grace. Their profes- sional building company is based on Auck- land’s North Shore and that is primarily where the company works. With Vonbon Homes NZ the build process is very hands on and a truly bespoke, personal experience. Eric assists clients while Grace takes care of the important administration side of the business to ensure every project flows smoothly. Vonbon Homes NZ solely focuses on new home builds – spec homes, house and land packages or clients can also come to the com- pany with their own section and/or plans. Eric says that Vonbon Homes NZ has a range of plans for inspiration but every home is a design and build project to suit the specific site and client’s needs to build their dream home. All Vonbon Homes NZ projects include high quality landscaping. Eric says this offers clients the complete package and ensures their outdoors matches the high levels of quality of their home. The experienced team at Vonbon Homes NZ plays an important part in the high levels of quality the company achieves. Vonbon Homes NZ employs its own carpenters on staff and Eric says this was a strategic decision for ultimate control over quality and timing of projects. Many of the builders on the Vonbon Homes NZ team have worked with the com- pany from its inception and offer high levels of expertise, which cover site management, solid construction, quality control and efficient customer service. Vonbon Homes NZ is a member of the Registered Master Builders Association and all of the homes it builds come with a 10-year Master Build Guarantee. Vonbon Homes NZ is busy with seven homes under construction. It currently has no house and land packages available but is working on more that will be released to the market early 2022.
